Doctorhomie Platform
Which personal data do we collect from you?
- When you create an account on our Platform, we use the following data depending
on your user category:
For patients/healthcare service users we collect and process the following
information: Full Name, Mobile phone number (verified),Email address (verified),
Status/Occupation, Address, Age, Gender, Social Security Number (AMKA)
If the service is booked on behalf of a third party, the User must confirm that they
are acting with the third party’s consent. In such cases, the following data will be
collected about the third party: Full Name, Gender, Age, Social Security Number
(AMKA)
Healthcare providers registering on the Platform will be asked to provide the
following information: Full Name, Mobile phone number (verified), Email address
(verified), Status/Occupation, Address, Age, Gender, Social Security Number
(AMKA), Office address (optional), Languages spoken, ID card/Passport, Profile
photo, Certificates of training, License to practice/ Certificate of seminar attendance
related to caregiving, Profile details: CV, ratings, appointment availability
You can also create an account and connect via your Google or Facebook Account. In
this case, the Platform will process only the data shared by the respective third-
party provider.
- If you pay a subscription fee, we will process the following payment information:
Transaction amount, Date of transaction, method of payment
- If you contact us through the Platform, we will process your contact details (full
name, email address) and the content of the message or communication
- Upon completion of an appointment, healthcare professionals may record private
notes related to the consultation (e.g. brief medical history).
- If you complete a Health Profile on the Platform, we will process information such as
medical history, known conditions or other relevant health data.
- Data we collect through cookies. For more information, please read our Cookies

Who controls and processes your personal data?
- The Data Controller for your data is the company DOCTORHOMIE P.C., lawfully
incorporated under the laws of Greece.
Our Platform is hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the European Union. If you
contact us via email, your data shall be retained in DOCTORHOMIE servers within the
European Union.
We use Viva Wallet, which acts as data processor, for executing e-payments.
Your data might be shared with insurance companies for verifying your insurance
coverage. These companies shall act as independent Data Controllers solely for this
data processing purpose.
- The authorized company’s employees and associates process your data.
All the above-mentioned parties are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Why and on which legal basis do we process your personal data?
- For the performance of our contract with you (based on the Terms of Service you
accept) and to provide you with the requested services.
- To contact you upon your request, based on our legitimate interests.
- To abide by our legal obligations (i.e., towards the Tax authorities), based on our
obligations stemming from the law.
- To send you our newsletter, based on your consent.
How long do we keep your data for?
- We will keep your data until you delete your account and accordingly within the next
calendar year, we will have your data anonymized. If you request data deletion, the
respective data shall be deleted within 30 days from the reception of the request.
- We will keep any payment records for 15 years to comply with our legal obligations,
stemming from the applicable tax legislation.
- If you contact us, we will retain the communication and its meta-data until you ask us
to delete it, unless it needs to be retained for a longer period or for legitimate reason
or for our compliance with a legal obligation.
- Data regarding health profiles and medical notes of patients will be retained for up to
10 years, in line with the applicable framework.

Which rights do you have?
You may ask us:
- To provide you with a copy of the personal data we keep for you
- To correct some data if it is not correct
- To erase your data
- To stop processing your data or delimit its processing to certain uses
- To send your data to another company or entity via logical means
- To withdraw your consent if you have provided it to us (i.e. for the use of cookies,
for newsletter subscription)
How can you exercise your data rights?
If, at any time, you would like to exercise your rights or ask any question regarding your

We will respond to you within 30 days from the reception of your request.
If you feel that the protection of your personal data has been violated, you may file a
complaint with the Greek Data Protection Authority.
